Even the hairs on your head have all been counted

Jesus isn’t talking about his Father’s omniscience here.

Can’t you see his child asleep on his lap, and he is quietly counting the little one’s hairs with his fingertip? I am a daddy too. I have held my little ones asleep on my lap. I have never known anything sweeter or more peaceful than that. It’s heaven.

It is heaven, isn’t it? Does Father have time to do that with me? Is he too busy?

“Two sparrows are sold for a penny, aren’t they? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father’s permission. Indeed, even the hairs on your head have all been counted! So stop being afraid. You are worth more than a bunch of sparrows.” (Matthew 10:29-31)
